The number of people infected with COVID-19 coronavirus worldwide as of March 4 exceeded 93 thousand people. There are already 80 countries on the planet where the virus has been detected - Ukraine is among them.

These figures are evidenced by the data portal gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com, where in real time updated statistics are published Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (Johns Hopkins CSSE).

According to these data, the five countries in the number of confirmed cases include:

China (80,151)

South Korea (5,621)

Italy (2,502)

Iran (2,336)

Japan (293)

France ranks sixth (212 cases), followed by Germany (203) and Spain (165). Closing the top ten US (127) and Singapore (110). Given Hong Kong, where 102 cases of the disease were recorded, there are already at least 11 countries on the planet where the number of infected has exceeded one hundred.

In the last day, the first case of infection was reported by Ukraine, Argentina, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar and Chile

As of the morning of March 4, the number of people infected with Chinese coronavirus infection COVID-2019 in the world exceeded 93 thousand people. Over the past day, five countries reported the first case of infection, including Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data on the distribution map of the coronavirus from the Center for System Research and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

According to the report, the number of people infected with coronavirus is 93 158 people. The victims of infection were 3198 patients. At that time, 50 690 people were able to recover.
